Hello Deb, I liked your ideas to encourage learner autonomy. I think we already practise some of them as teachers and learners as well. I believe that when we show sts our enthusiasm for the language and that we do care about their success these attitudes persuade them to do their best.
What a tidy way to present your ideas, Deb! I like the fact you've included different resources and pointed out how we teachers can foster autonomy in different aspect of the teaching-learning process... A question on my mind right now is: why do all your ideas involve students working either before or after the lesson (not during)? Wouldn't that suggest they're already quite autonomous?
